Hi, I’m Katie. I identify as a mother to a spirited and courageous young boy, a partner to a compassionate and dedicated husband, an educator, and a lifelong learner. Each of these roles reflects my deep commitment to fostering growth, connection, and resilience in both personal and professional spaces.

As a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor for both Adult and Youth curricula, I am passionate about cultivating environments where empathy, education, and human connection serve as catalysts for healing and empowerment. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed principles and a strengths-based perspective, honoring each individual's inherent worth and capacity for change.

I believe that healing begins with understanding—and that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in their journey. My work is guided by the core values of social work: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, the importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence. Through these values, I strive to walk alongside others as they move from surviving to truly thriving.

Hey there, I’m so glad you’re here.
